In this small-group immersive workshop, producer/songwriter Aaron Shafer-Haiss will mentor six participants over five weeks, guiding each one in producing their own original song and crafting a fully-produced recording ready for mixing and release.

You'll leave with:

  • A self-produced song ready for mixing and mastering
  • A solid foundation to continue to grow independently
  • New tools and vocabulary to define your creative vision
  • A more comprehensive understanding of the creative process

WORKSHOP DATES:
Five Wednesday evenings in October 2024, 8pm-9:30pm ET. (Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)
Classes will be recorded for replay.

WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS
- Any DAW and a basic understanding of how to use it
- A voice memo or scratch demo of a song you want to produce (original or cover), 95% written

Q: How experienced do I need to be in my DAW?
Ideally, you have recorded at least a few songs and feel comfortable recording, comping, and adding basic effects. You should also have some resources (like YouTube) to troubleshoot small tech questions. Please send us a message if you want to discuss this further!
Q: What if I want to add an instrument I don't play? Aaron can help you find and communicate with hired players, but this will be an additional expense.
Q: How much does it cost?
The workshop is $350. TOTB members receive 15% off

Are you ready to record your song with the guidance of an experienced producer and teacher, the support of a small group setting, and the gentle pressure of a deadline?
